VASTI THERAPY

Vasti is Ayurveda’s holistic pain relieving therapy. A traditional Ayurvedic treatment which is specifically used for discomforts, pain and disorders of the neck and back in the lumbosacral region. When Vasti is combined with other effective treatments like ahbyanga and the use of herbal poultices it provides significant relief especially for neck arthritis and cervical osteoarthritis.

This healing treatment unfolds with gentle ahbyanga and followed by the use of warm herbal poultices to provide support and aid in recovery. As you relax, organic gram is prepare and formed into a circular dam or compartment ring then applied to the specific treatment area. A generous amount of warm medicated oil is poured into the affected area covering the neck or cervical region allowing the warm medicated oil to pool for a fixed duration of time. An ancient therapy which combines the use of all three healing methods to provide significant and long standing relief.
