Meditation is an essential tool for mental health. It allows the mind and body to align in the present moment using the power of the breath. Because of this, self awareness and inner healing can be achieved from a sub-conscious level through meditation; aiding to reduce stress levels, anxiety, emotional distress and mental fatigue.
Nourishing the mind is equally as important as nourishing the body. Our mental health greatly depends on the food we eat. In Ayurveda, conscious and mindful eating shapes our relationship with food and is an integral part of achieving holistic balance. A vegetarian diet is accommodating on the body and conducive to meditation as well. In addition with this mindfulness meditation session; a light vegetarian brunch will be served.
